HiFi Equipment Reviews

What we would like to do here is give our opinions of equipment we get to play with both in the store and at home. Obviously not everybody will agree, however we will call it as we see it. Click on the links to read the reviews. We will be adding more reviews every week. If you would like us to review a particular product (assuming we have access to it) just e-mail us and we'll see what we can do. It may take a little while but we should eventually get around to it. We will not load up with lists of manufacturers specifications as most of them are totally meaningless when comparing to other products - Onkyo power ratings being a major culprit! (the new Marantz brochures are also full of misleading figures 'cause they reckon they have to keep up with Onkyo).

One thing you have to be aware of is the time frame of these reviews. My comments on the products are relevant only in relation to what is available at that time, so if I reckon a DVD player is the Ducks Nuts, that may not be the case two months hence when the Mk II whatever becomes available. To this end I'll be dating my reviews in future.
