Canton Digital Movie Systems
We have two types of these Made in Germany systems to clear for our end
of year stocktake. These sound very, very good (as well they should at the
normal pricing). Even just for music they're absolutely superb.
This is the DM-1 which is a "soundbar" type system. There is no video switching
on these superb sounding set ups although there are 3 digital inputs, just Audio Switching. Retail is $2999, we have

iTube - The Ultimate iPod Player

This is the best sounding
iPod thingy you'll probably ever hear, plus the valve amp has
an auxiliary input to allow you to plug in your computer, CD
Player or other goodies. The importer is down to the last couple
and has asked us to move them. Note - These work with all iPods
except Gen 2 iTouch and IPhone. These can still be attached
however using a 3.5mm to 2 RCA cord.

5.1 Satellite Speaker System
Normally, we don't get involved in the cheaper speaker systems as we
don't find them particularly good value for money but Uncle Roger (lets do luch
but it's your shout) from DB Dynamics has some systems he wants to clear from
his warehouse as he needs the space. These little beauties really sound great
and consist of five satellites which can be wall mounted or placed on the
supplied desk stands, the subwoofer is a 8" 100 watt unit with plenty of punch.
Retail is $990 but we have them for half price sy $499 for the 5.1 pack. Put it
with a Cambridge Audio 340R A/V receiver and you'd get a fantastic set up for

Onkyo TX-SR706 A/V Receiver
As you probably know, there's no "best" A/V Receiver, only the
best available for the money. Since the Yamaha RX-V1900 increased in price
(retail now $2499) we had to find an alternative as the best discount price on
those is now close to $1900. The Onkyo TX-SR706 is Onkyo's answer to the
RX-V1900 being extremely close in sound and features, indeed, the retail price
is identical at $2499. We have some of the 706's in stock that we bought prior
to the slump in the Aussie dollar so we're doing them at $1549, this makes them
the best buy on the market in terms of value for money. We have a couple of
ex-display units (repacked as new, still with full three year warranty) at $1449
for the cheapskates out there. We have some new silver units (not as popular a
colour) for $1449 however.
