Unless you're a fan of British '60's music you can leave right now.

Still here huh? OK this is an historical DVD whichever way you look at it. Performed at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT in 2001 this could be the last time you see any of these 1960's icons perform as most of the artists look about ready for the old folks home (apart from Peter Noone who has been taking the same pills as Cliff Richards and Justin Hayward). There's more wigs and makeup here than in "Moulin Rouge"

Having said all that, I wouldn't have missed watching this DVD for the world. All my childhood idols are here and most in surprising good voice. Because of the improvement in recording techniques a lot of these songs sound better (technically) than the originals. Most of these artists are really irrelevant to the modern musical world and only offer nostalgia relief with the exception of Eric Burdon and the New Animals who can still belt out the blues and rock with the best of them.

I've included the song and artist index here for your perusal. This concert was a made for TV special with average video quality, average sound quality (although better than the original songs) but for those of us who made it through the '60's and still retain partial sanity, this is one disc you must have in your collection (I've sat through it 4 times already)

Audio 3.5 out of 5 (Dolby Digital Stereo)

Video 3.5 out of 5

Content - irreplaceable.
